APNS란?

• third party 개발자가 우리 앱에 푸시 알람을 보낼 수 있도록 Apple에서 만든 알림 서비스 플랫폼
• 즉, 모든 푸쉬알림을 보내기 위해 중재를 하고 있는 센터
• Apple은 Server가 앱에 직접 알람을 보내는 것을 불허하고 항상 APNs라는 플랫폼을 통해서만 보낼 수 있게 함

작동방식

 

1. App이 APNs에게 remote notification 등록 요청

 

application.registerForRemoteNotifications()

2. APNs가 App에게 성공적으로 되었음을 알려줌과 동시에 Device Token 전달

func application(_ application: UIApplication, didRegisterForRemoteNotificationsWithDeviceToken deviceToken: Data)

 

3. App이 Push Server에게 Device Token을 보내고, Server는 해당 토큰을 저장하고 있는다. Server는 내가 만든 서버일 수도 있고, 다른 기업에서 제공하는 서버를 이용할 수도 있다 (ex Firebase Cloud Messaging)

 

4. Server는 푸시를 보내고 싶을 때, APNs에게 Device Token과 데이터를 보낸다. 이때 APNs와 Server는 TLS 통신을 하기 때문에, Server에는 인증서가 준비되어 있어야 한다.

5. APNs는 해당 Device Token으로 데이터를 보낸다.
내 Device가 Background 상태면 OS가 처리해서 푸시알림을 띄우고, Foreground 상태면 AppDelegate에 정의해놓은 방식 대로 APP 위에 띄워진다.

 

Push notification 설정

1. 개인인증서 생성
   1. 키체인 → 인증서 지원 → 인증 기관에서 인증서 요청
2. 푸시인증서 생성
   1. 개발자 사이트 → Identifiers → Create Certificate (개발용 배포용 따로 존재) → 개인 인증서(certSigningRequest) 첨부 → 푸시인증서 생성 및 다운로드
3. 푸시인증서 키체인에 등록
   1. 다운받은 푸시인증서 더블클릭 → 키체인등록 → 푸시인증서의 개인키는 개인인증서의 이름으로 등록
4. 서버용 인증서 생성
   1. 푸시인증서와 개인키를 p12 파일로 저장 → 두개의 p12파일로 각각 pem파일 생성 → 두개의 pem 파일을 합쳐 하나의 pem 파일 (서버용 인증서) 생성 → 서버에 해당 인증서를 저장
5. 프로젝트 설정
   1. iOS 프로젝트에서 Push Notification, Background Modes 활성화
6. AppDelegate 수정
